I don’t know where to get started with building my website

You know you need a website, but you're not really sure where to start with it all. It's kinda overwhelming and confusing. If you've ventured out for some quotes, you may have found vast differences in prices, have no idea what's included and what isn't, what you need and what you don't...

If you run a cleaning business, then we are here to support you in your journey to starting and growing your cleaning business website and your online presence.

A good place to start is to think about your overall message - what you want to let potential customers know, how you can solve their problems, and how to take the next step with you.

Some things you'll need to start getting together when you're ready to build a website are:

  • Logo
  • Colour scheme/brand colours
  • Custom domain name (yourdomain.com)
  • Custom email address (eg. office@yourdomain.com)
  • Written content for your website pages
  • Copyright-free images to use on your website

If you have all these things ready upfront, then you'll have your website up and running pretty quickly.

However, if you need help with these, we can also help or point you in the direction of another service that can.

When you sign up for a plan with us, you'll have the option to 'map' your custom domain to your new website. This sounds a bit scary but we'll help you through it - then people will go to 'www.yourcustomdomain.com' instead of 'www.yourcustomdomain.cleaningservicewebsites.co.uk'.

We're also planning to offer a 'stock library' of photos especially for cleaning businesses to use on the websites they create with us - no worrying about whether you're allowed to use an image!

Finally, just after you sign up you'll receive an 'add-on' menu of options via email, and you can access them via the Help Centre too - so you can decide then whether to get help with setting up your website, or even get content writing done for you.
